Frumenty with milk and feta cheese

This is a dish we all have tried in our childhood. Many people have not consumed it for more than two or three decades. But now it's time to prepare it again for your children. It is a traditional and highly nutritious meal. You do not need to grind it, since there is no risk of choking, while, at the same time, the small pieces it contains help the child adapt to its new meals.

Τραχανάς με γάλα και φέτα

Ingredients

  • 50g of sweet frumenty
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup milk
  • 50g feta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

 

Preparation

  • In a small pot bring the water to a boil. Add the frumenty and turn the heat down. Stir continuously, making sure it does not stick on the bottom of the pot. After 5 minutes, add the milk and oil and continue to stir until mashed. If necessary, add a little water.
  • Serve it in a deep dish or bowl.
  • Crumble feta cheese and serve it on top.
