Sorbet all year round

Ice cream is a favourite for most children. Make this home-made version, without fat and based at the purest ingredients, fruits and honey! Of course, summer fruits provide better results both in flavour and colour.

Γρανίτα παγωτό για όλο τον χρόνο


  • 2 cups fresh or frozen fruit, chopped (do not combine more than two fruits)
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 egg whites



  • Mix thoroughly the fruits, honey and lemon juice until pureed
  • Put the mixture in an oblong cake tin with greaseproof paper on the base and on the sides.
  • Put the cake tin in the freezer and allow to freeze for 2-3 hours.
  • Beat the egg whites in a bowl. Pour into the bowl and beat the mixture with a hand mixer until light and swell.
  • Divide in bowls with lids and put them again in the freezer for another 2-3 hours.
